超氧化物歧化酶(SOD):

超氧化物歧化酶又稱超氧歧化酶。是一類能催化超氧陰離子自由基(O2-)歧化為H2O2和O2的酶。此酶分布極為廣泛,迄今已從細菌、真菌、藻類、植物、原生動物、昆蟲、魚類和哺乳動物等各種生物體內分離到。

 

超氧歧化酶十分穩定,牛紅細胞SOD在75℃下加熱數分鐘仍很少失活,對酸堿也較穩定,可在pH 5.3~10.5范圍內反應。

 

SOD的分類:

超氧歧化酶是一類金屬酶,可分為三種類型:

  • 第一種含銅和鋅,稱含銅、鋅超氧歧化酶,呈藍綠色,主要存在于真核細胞的細胞質中;

  • 第二種含錳,稱含錳超氧歧化酶,呈紫色,主要存在于原核細胞及真核細胞的基質(如線粒體等)中;

  • 第三種含鐵,稱含鐵超氧歧化酶,呈黃褐色,主要存在于原核細胞及少數植物細胞中。

 

SOD能夠催化超氧陰離子自由基歧化生成氧和過氧化氫,在機體氧化與抗氧化平衡中起到至關重要的作用,與很多疾病的發生、發展密不可分,因此SOD成為了許多生理過程的重要標志物,檢測準確檢測樣本中SOD的量顯得尤為重要了。
