       什么是S100B？
       S100家族蛋白是一組低分子量的鈣結合蛋白，因其可溶解在pH值為7.0的飽和硫酸銨溶液中，故命名為S100蛋白，由α和β兩種亞基組成，形成同型或者異型二聚體，主要分為三個亞型：S100A0（αα）、S100A(αβ) 和 S100B(ββ)。不同S100蛋白亞型在人體的表達分布具有相對特異性，其中S100A0主要存在于神經元細胞中；S100A主要存在于橫紋肌、心肌和腎臟；S100B主要分布于中樞神經系統和周圍神經系統的神經膠質細胞和Schwann細胞以及某些神經元細胞、黑色素細胞、軟骨細胞和脂肪細胞中。
S100B是目前在惡性黑色素瘤中應用最廣泛的生物標志分子，特別是轉移性黑色素瘤，S100B水平的升高與預后相關，升高的血清S100B水平強烈提示預后不良。亦有報道稱，血清標志物 S100B 檢測可準確識別肺癌腦轉移。
